Based ob the information that is given by the Department of Mining and Energy of the West Nusa Tenggara Province, height of Mount Rinjanionce reached approx; 5,000 m above sea level. Also, the recent west part of Mount Rinjani at the pre quarter era (1,8 million years ago), was only sediment. At later on the Pleistocene era (1,8 million ago) there was Volcanic activity as an effect of a tectonic Volcanic action, that seeped through the surface in the form of explosive activity or Melted Lava.

Mount Runjani Climbing is one of main tourist attraction. Mount Rinjani is the second highest mountain in Indonesia. Rinjani Peak is becoming the main destination for more adventure seekers and nature lover who have visit before, being able to reach the peaks makes them feel proud.

Mount Rinjani Area is a part of tropical Rainforest that lies in West Nusa Tenggara. It consist is various types of ecosystems and a complete vegetation starting from lowland tropical forest (1,500 - 2,000 masl) consisting of Prime Forest, Casurina Forest and sub-alphine vegetation (> 2,00 masl). At height of 1,000 masl are many kinds of trees and bushes. like Banyan (Ficus benyamina), Stinging Nette (Laportea stimulan), Guava (Sygium sp.), Wild Nutmeg (Myritica fatna), Buni Hutan (Antdesma so), Neem (Azadircta indica), Bajur (Pterospermiumh ptophilla), Terep (Artocarplus elestica), Harending (Melasotama sp.) and Pandanus (Pandanus tectorius) treefont>.

The Rinjani trek is a challenging mountain walk and you must be prepared with good equipment, warm and windproof clothing. Rinjani can attract severe storms, lightening and strong winds. When the weather is settled, the sun is intense and the nights frosty. Parts of the trail are steep and slippery. Beware of bad weather and risks of exposure to the wet and cold (hypothermia)..................
